Shreem Capital, a trailblazer in the hotel industry, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager for the Embassy Suites Tulsa I-44 in Tulsa, OK. The Hotel Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a key member of the hotel's executive team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property in the absence of the General Manager. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the hotel's success by maintaining high standards of guest service, employee satisfaction, and financial performance.ResponsibilitiesOperational Management:Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and sales and marketing.Ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed.Monitor and evaluate the performance of departments and staff.Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.Guest Service:Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay.Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.Financial Performance:Assist the General Manager in developing and managing the hotel's budget.Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure profitability.Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.Human Resources:Recruit, hire, and train hotel staff.Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.Sales and Marketing:Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.Maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agents.Monitor market trends and competitor activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or 5 years in related field is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a full-service property.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficient in computer systems, including property management systems and financial software.Additional Skills (Preferred)Bilingual language skills.Experience with revenue management and yield management.Certification in Hospitality Management.Physical RequirementsStanding and walking for long periods: This is a big part of the job. Hotel Assistant General Managers are constantly on the move, checking on different areas of the hotel, meeting with staff and guests.Flexible work hours: The hospitality industry never sleeps, and neither does a Hotel Assistant General Manager. Expect to work evenings, weekends, and be on call sometimes.Overall, it's more about stamina and endurance than strength.
