Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is seeking a
Data Scientist
with experience in entity resolution to develop and deploy applications for processing structured and unstructured data into usable data formats for long-term storage, search, and analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD (additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree)
Eight (8) years of experience with languages such as Java, Scala, or Python, used in support of development and production operations
Experience with Bayesian Statistics
Experience in data management processing
Experience with AWS
Desired Qualifications:
Be able to differentiate between Deduplication, Canonicalisation, and Record Lineage
Knowledge of language translation experience
Understand graph algorithms such as connected components
Experience with search tools - Solr or Elastic Search
Knowledge of distributed computing is a must - Apache Spark stack
Have worked in an Agile environment.
You have worked on teams that practice Agile methodologies.
Clearance:
A current/active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
