Senior Scientist I (all genders) Analytical Chemistry Mass Spectrometry (permanent / fulltime).Within the Structural Elucidation team, part of the global Analytical R&D organization, develop state-of-the-art analytical techniques for the characterization of our new chemical entity (NCE) pharmaceutical development molecules using mass spectrometry and other advanced analytical techniques. The selected candidate would also conceive and implement novel experimental approaches to answer a broad spectrum of scientific questions as they relate to process and degradation chemistry for both drug substance and drug product development. These investigations include: elucidation of unknown chemical structures from complex mixtures using high resolution mass spectrometry and other related techniques, drug impurity/degradant profiling, isolation of unknown drug degradation products, probing studies to determine degradation reaction mechanisms, and trace level quantitation of impurities in complex matrixes. Contribute to project science within multidisciplinary teams, and develop productive collaborations, work processes and communications with other groups across drug product development disciplines.
