Area of specialization (AOS): Ethics (theoretical and/or applied). Area of competence (AOC): Open. The successful candidate must be prepared to teach upper and lower division courses in ethical theory, applied ethics, and other value-theory courses. Ability to teach bioethics is desirable. All requirements for the PhD must be completed by July 1, 2025.The normal teaching load for research-active faculty is five courses per year.
