Your Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic
Remote Middle School Math Teacher
to work with students in grades 6-12. Teachers will be expected to understand math concepts, prepare lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging classes, and communicate regularly with students and parents.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and teaching online math classes weekly (7-10 classes = approximately 12-20 hours/week)
Participating in paid teaching assistant work by attending classes and learning from lead teachers
Conducting 1-on-1 evaluations with new students to help them enroll in the correct classes (5-10 hours/week)
Grading homework and communicating with parents weekly about student progress (5-7 hours/week)
Other work assigned by the teaching management team
Work Hours:
12:00pm-8:00pm Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or higher; Education or STEM-related majors preferred
Prior math teaching experience is a plus
Availability and willingness to work full-time from Wednesday to Sunday
Passionate about teaching and enthusiastic about working with children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive Pay:
Teaching Hours: $30-$40/hr
Administrative Hours: $16-$20/hr
Yearly Salary Estimate:
1st year Total Target Compensation: $40,000-$50,000
