As a Technical Program Manager, you will define and deliver programs that streamline the software release process, helping software teams worldwide deliver more software, faster. As a leader in the Builder Tools organization, you will work closely with development tool owners on feature delivery that automates the software delivery release process, and partner directly with software teams to ensure their success.Utility Computing (UC)AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.The Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) organization has a mission of creating the world’s best builder experience across tens of thousands of software engineers and all Amazon businesses (e.g., AWS, Amazon Stores, etc.). Our Builder Tools team in ASBX owns the software development tools Amazon software teams use to develop, release, and manage their software. Collect data and feedback on current issues preventing release automation.Own the definition and delivery of Amazon-wide programs that improve the software delivery release process.Influence company-wide priorities for software teams by engaging with software leaders (VPs, Directors, Principals) across the company.Collaborate with development tool owners to align on tool improvements, priority, and delivery timeline.Work directly with software teams to ensure their success.Measure the impact and success of Amazon-wide programs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.- 3+ years of software development experience.- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
