Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio.The Department of Neurosurgery, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor/Clinical level with a demonstrated interest in developing a productive academic neurosurgery practice who wants to advance their academic career in the clinical and research arenas.Opportunity DetailsEligible candidates must be American Board Certified or American Board Eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) and have advanced training and expertise in Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery as well as Epilepsy. The candidate will be committed to working within an active academic department with clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities, and obtain and maintain a Texas Medical License. The Department of Neurosurgery is a multidisciplinary department with a commitment to translational, basic science, and outcomes research. Our Mission is to foster the education, training, and development of future neurological surgeons, to generate new knowledge through innovative research and clinical trials that impact health care and improve lives, and to provide compassionate, competent neurosurgical care to our community. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and rank.
