The Department of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) seeks a faculty member in its Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology with a focus on non-malignant hematology, including hemostasis and thrombosis. The Division is currently comprised of 17 hematology, oncology and stem cell transplant faculty and supports an ACGME-approved fellowship training program in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and a robust research program.Responsibilities:Providing direct patient care in inpatient and ambulatory settings.Medical education of students and trainees.Participation in research and/or quality improvement.Qualifications:Medical doctorate or equivalent.Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology.Strong record of excellence in clinical care, graduate medical education, and scholarship.Academic rank, track, and compensation will be dependent upon qualifications. VUMC offers a generous benefits package to its faculty.
