We bring that vision to life through our values and culture.ALL ABOUT SPECIALTY SALESA sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.Teams in Apparel & Accessories (A&A), Beauty, and Electronics prioritize guest experience while completing tasks that ensure product availability and ease of shopping.As a Specialty Sales Executive Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth.Create a guest-obsessed culture and lead your team to prioritize the guest experience.Create schedules and adjust as needed to align with guest traffic and business needs.Manage your team to effectively plan merchandising and pricing workload.Know and assess the competition to leverage guest insights and feedback.Work a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs.Build a team knowledgeable and passionate about A&A, Beauty, and Electronics.Manage and develop a sales force using training techniques.Lead backroom processes, organization, layout, and replenishment of the sales floor.Ensure fitting rooms are welcoming and used as an extension of the sales floor.Anticipate staffing needs and recruit both long and short term.Develop and coach your team to elevate skills and expertise.Lead team onboarding and close product knowledge gaps.Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.Provide service and a shopping experience that meets guest needs.Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.).Follow all safe and secure training and processes.Perform other duties based on business needs.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe might be a great match if:Working in a fun and energetic environment excites you.Providing service that makes guests say I LOVE TARGET! excites you.Leading teams who are stocking, setting, and selling Target products sounds appealing.You enjoy a busy work environment rather than a Monday through Friday desk job.Skills and Qualifications:4-year degree or equivalent experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong business acumen.Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.Ability to manage conflict and lead others.Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.Additional Expectations:Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.Interpret instructions, reports, and information.Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.Accurately handle cash register operations.Climb up and down ladders.Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)Target will provide reasonable accommodations with the application process upon your request as required to comply with applicable laws.
