Job Description - Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine- Assistant Professor (24000000MV)The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Medicine Division of Infectious Disease in Memphis, TN is seeking candidates for a full-time, Assistant Professor position. This is a non-tenure track position.This position will maintain an active clinical practice including responsibilities as assigned by the Chief of Service, ID Section Chief, and Division Director and/or UTROP/RHO/ executive leadership. Clinical schedule will be assigned by the Division Director and will consist of working in various ROH outpatient settings and participation in the ID rotation in accordance with department standards established by departmental leadership. Your anticipated schedule will resemble the following:10-12 weeks of ID IP consulting service1 ID clinic per weekIt is understood that your OP clinic schedule will be reduced during the weeks you are assigned to the IP consult service.This position will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.Basic Qualifications:Qualified applicants must have an MD Degree, be eligible for Tennessee Licensure, and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.Departmental Preferences:This position will be 90% of patient care with training Endocrinology fellows, and 10% of teaching and research.
