ACRT Pacific, LLC.Description:Seeking a Registered Professional Forester to work as a Vegetation Management Inspector. This position is ideal for an entry-level or seasoned forestry professional with an educational background in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation, or related disciplines and with experience in these fields.We are seeking a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) who will collaborate with senior leaders and business development managers to support proposals and new project startups where RPF is required. The candidate must be available to travel during the work week up to 75% of the time, up to 4 hours in any one direction. When RPF work is unavailable, the successful candidate will work as a Vegetation Management Inspector supporting PG&E's electric transmission and distribution vegetation program(s).*Must be a Licensed Registered Professional ForesterThis position is designated as a safety-sensitive role.Duties & Responsibilities:Perform circuit patrols in accordance with the annual VM plan, VM patrol standards, and processes.Identify required tree work along the existing PG&E rights-of-way; prescribe tree work to be performed; document inspections.Ensure inspections meet applicable standards.Notify property owners/agencies when tree work will occur and obtain necessary authorizations.Act as the VM contact for new business and reconstruction work requested by the energy delivery organization.Perform work verification inspections, verifying applicable inspection and tree work completion and quality.Investigate and document tree-related outages and attend outage meetings as requested.Support emergency response as directed by OEC or level one operations, including dispatching tree crews and field checking sites.Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor independently.Support oversight of vegetation projects, including tree assessment, tree trimming, and other work as required.Participate in contractor safety and tailboard meetings.Act as a customer relations representative on behalf of PG&E.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations including permits and environmental protection measures.Proficiently use electronic devices and complete documentation and reporting as assigned.Basic Responsibility:Patrol distribution or transmission circuits and prescribe work to be performed by PG&E's tree contractor.Determine when the next trim is required and assess all trees with the potential to strike PG&E facilities.Manage EC notifications and cases, perform outage investigations, and document work in the VMDSR or other PG&E assigned databases.Maintain direct contact with PG&E division personnel, public agencies, and customers as directed.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED ANDMust be a Licensed Registered Professional ForesterRequired to maintain a Class C driver's license AND must meet one of the experience levels below:Experience / Education Requirements (must meet one):One (1) year of related arboricultural experience, ORISA Certified Arborist, OR2-year or 4-year college degree in a related field ANDApproval by PG&E RepresentativeYou must reside within 50 miles of Grass Valley, CA.Required Skills:Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates.Ability to learn and use company- or job-specific software systems.Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Dependability and accountability for quality and timeliness of work.Position Title:

The base salary represents the wage ACRT Pacific pays for this position. The base hourly amount for this role is $39.27 per hour. In addition, you will receive an in lieu of benefits amount of $9.82 per hour for every eligible hour worked, totaling $49.09 per hour.
