The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UMKC School of Medicine seeks a Research Assistant / Research Associate with excellent cell/molecular biology, histology/immunohistochemistry/in situ hybridization, and animal experiment skills to participate in research projects related to placental diseases and pregnancy complications.The duties will include but are not limited to:Performing molecular, cell biology, histology, and animal experiments;Assisting the PI and other researchers in different research projects in the lab;Coordinating with clinical research teams;Analyzing and interpreting research results;Participating in the preparation of manuscripts;Developing and participating in scientific research projects as needed;Performing other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsResearch Assistant must have a Bachelor's or equivalent degree.Research Associate requires a PhD.Qualifications for either position:Experience in animal care and breeding;Proficiency in tissue processing and histological techniques is required.Application Materials
