SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to join our network security team supporting a Federal customer in Bethesda, MD. This person will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the cybersecurity initiatives. This role involves developing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the latest cybersecurity threats and solutions.This is a proposal effort and this position is considered key personnel. This person must be located in the Washington, DC area with the ability to go to the customer site in Bethesda, MD.Strategic planningSecurity operationsRisk management and complianceIncident responseTeam leadershipQualifications

Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience.Experience architecting and deploying tools and equipment to intercept and inspect network and email traffic, and in Endpoint technology to both end user workstations and servers.Knowledge of security industry best practices and standards, especially as it relates to compromise assessments.Possesses working knowledge of security software such as Tenable, Splunk, and BigFix.In-depth knowledge in security engineering, network engineering, penetration testing, assessment of security controls.Familiarity with HHS/DHS security policies/directives and continuous monitoring.Must be a U.S. citizen.Desired Qualifications:Experience working at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH).Desired certifications:GIACCISSPSplunkWhat We Can Offer You
