Job Overview:

The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees within the organization. This role involves developing curriculum, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. The Senior Training Specialist will work closely with department heads and management to identify training needs and ensure that training initiatives align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and workshops.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.

Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of various departments and roles.

Training Delivery:

Conduct training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning formats.

Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions to maximize learner participation and retention.

Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed.

Training Evaluation:

Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, surveys, and feedback.

Analyze training data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Make recommendations for enhancing training programs based on evaluation results.

Training Administration:

Maintain training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and venue setup.

Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure all training activities are properly recorded.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with department heads and management to identify training needs and priorities.

Communicate training plans and progress to stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external training partners.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve training methods and materials.

Participate in professional development activities to enhance training skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.

$2,916.00 - $4,461.00 per year
