Hilton San Diego Bayfront, One Park Blvd, San Diego 92101This is a great entry-level position for those looking to get into a fantastic security department within an incredible hotel. You will also be able to enjoy some of the positive vibes of the waterfront area. Our waterfront hotel has 1,190 guest rooms and over 170,000 square feet of elegant indoor and gorgeous outdoor event spaces.This is an overnight part-time position. Required hours to work are 10:30pm - 7:00am. Required days needed to work are Monday - Tuesday & Wednesday.A Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.What will I be doing?

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions.Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed.Interact with guests providing great customer service and assist with directions, information, and luggage as needed.Write reports and ensure the accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed.Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.What are we looking for?
