Adam BailieABOUT THE WORSHIP LEADER POSITIONOur main goal in each ministry where worship is present is an encounter with the living God in such a way that brings glory to Christ and stirs our hearts to actively express love and devotion to God. A worship leader at Christ Church not only leads the congregation in gospel-centered, Spirit led worship of Jesus, but also influences the church to grow as worshippers and leads the team in this mission to execute a creative, distraction-free, God-glorifying service. To be successful in this role, a person must pursue personal discipleship with the Lord in a way that equips them to persuasively invite others to join them in genuine worship.QUALIFICATIONS:Character: Growing member of Christ Church who meets the qualifications of deacons in 1 Tim. 3:8-13.Compatibility: Embodies the values, philosophies, and culture of Christ Church.Chemistry: Joyfully and effectively works within the organizational structure of Christ Church.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead services as scheduled for weekends at Christ Church Gilbert.Schedule teams for weekend service participation.Participate in service planning for weekend services and special events.Develop and lead an ongoing training plan for worship and production teams across all campuses.Provide weekly coaching and feedback to team members.Provide weekly feedback to your supervisor.Develop creative elements and content for weekend services, Next Gen services, and other special events.Lead worship for occasional events outside of weekends (retreats, special services, holidays).Participate in worship songwriting with

Vintage Worship , as applicable.Other related duties, as assigned, depending on gifting and experience.COMPETENCIES:Leader: A clear vision for effective ministry and the ability to lead others to accomplish that vision.
