OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety programs within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks associated with our operations. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, particularly in construction settings.DutiesDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety practices into construction management processes.Provide training sessions for employees on occupational health, risk management, and safe work practices.Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure proper documentation is maintained.Stay updated on changes in regulations related to compliance management, EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries from employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Proven experience in safety management within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, OSHA standards, risk management principles, and compliance management practices.Familiarity with construction management software is preferred.Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and influence others on safety practices.Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP or CIH) is a plus but not required.Join our team as a Safety Manager where you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our workforce while contributing to the overall success of our projects through effective risk management strategies.Job Type:
