Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking an

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Manager

to join our Team located in Portsmouth, NH. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and completing technical tasks for environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance projects. This includes ensuring timely and accurate project completion, adherence to budgets, and maintaining client relationships. The role requires leading technical project execution in various regulatory program areas, mentoring project teams, and managing multiple concurrent projects.Health & Wellness Benefits:Comprehensive group medical planDental insurancePrescription drug coverageAccidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) coverageLong/short term disability insuranceHealth and dependent care flexible spending accountOnsite Fitness CenterFinancial Benefits:401k PlanGroup term life insuranceSupplemental life insuranceHSA employer fundingEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Work/Life Balance:Paid time offWorkplace flexibilityTuition reimbursementProfessional RegistrationEmployee Assistance programResponsibilities:Lead and complete technical tasks for environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance projects.Conduct compliance assessments, program development, regulatory analysis, and reporting, permitting, training, and database solutions for EHS compliance requirements.Perform technical tasks at client facilities, including analyses, calculations, and preparation of various reports and documents.Ensure technical project execution in hazardous waste management, air emissions permitting, wastewater/stormwater permitting, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, and other regulatory program areas.Develop and deliver EHS training programs.Prepare proposals, attend professional networking events, and identify project opportunities.Maintain active networking with existing and new clients.Mentor and develop project team members, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Requirements:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and within teams.Strong leadership and positive attitude.Excellent customer service skills.Outstanding technical writing and oral communication skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Ability to mentor and develop project teams.Commitment to safe work practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or safety management from an accredited program.6-10 years of professional experience in consulting, state environmental agency, or manufacturing.Experience in environmental and regulatory compliance, including interpreting state and federal regulations.Knowledge of EHS-related regulatory compliance.Experience preparing compliance reports, permits, and plans.Familiarity with hazardous waste management, air emissions permitting, wastewater/stormwater permitting, industrial safety, and industrial hygiene.Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH, PE) preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc.
