Responsibilities:Serve as MFT program director.Teach a 3:3 course load on campus, with expectations for teaching MFT courses and providing clinical supervision. Summer teaching is available as is possible reassigned time for serving as program director.Advise and mentor graduate students in the MFT program.Engage in research and scholarly activities relevant to MFT.Engage in service to the program, department, institution, and MFT profession.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field completed by August 1, 2024.AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Supervisor Candidate.Licensed or license-eligible as a marriage and family therapist in North Carolina.Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.Experience teaching or providing therapy to diverse individuals/families/groups.Areas of Interest:Previous experience in academic leadership.Experience working within an outcome-based educational framework and COAMFTE accreditation.Evidence of potential for developing a robust and sustained program of research and/or pursuing external funding in MFT related scholarship.Experience in clinical practice and supervision in Couples and Family Therapy.University teaching experience.Graduated from a COAMFTE accredited program.Application Process
