Part-Time Faculty: Geography - 70880

SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time pooled faculty: Geography position to teach Principles of Geography this upcoming Fall 2024 semester, and possibly future semesters.

Course assignments may be in-person and/or online. Preference is given to instructors who have experience teaching fully online courses using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Part-time appointments are made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Master's degree and/or 18 hours in Geography or a related field, and prior teaching experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with GIS software.

Expertise using a Learning Management System such as Canvas and using technology to enhance student learning.
