As a Wafer Cleaning Technician in the Research and Development group, you will join a small group focused on Quality, Efficiency & Cost regarding Single Crystal Diamond wafer cleaning development. This position supports the Engineering effort through preparation of and operation of wafer-cleaning equipment, and related metrology tools.The incumbent will be expected to work day shifts and 1 day on weekends.Shift differentials are provided for Swing/Graveyard shifts. Swing shift receives a 6.5% differential.Responsibilities:
Assists process engineering in developmental and improvement projects on cleaning and inspection of diamond and Si wafers.Set up, operate, and clean wafer cleaning equipment including preparing wafer cleaning chemicals.Clean diamond/Si wafers and samples.Inspect and measure the post-cleaning wafers with WLI and AFM etc. metrology tools.Update system and stakeholders on backlog and progress.Requirements:
Associates or bachelor’s degree relevant to chemistry, chemical engineering, and/or materials science and engineering.Minimum 2 years' experience working in Cleaning, and/or polishing environment.Knowledge of surface Measurement/Inspection techniques.Attention to detail and good time management.Excellent hand-eye coordination.Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life.
