Under general supervision, teach courses in Business Statistics, Business Calculus, and/or other related business courses to community college students. May be assigned to any SLCC location.Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Effectively prepare and teach classes to facilitate student learning.Assess and maintain records of student performance.Develop, distribute, and adhere to current course outlines and/or syllabi.Attend required training and department meetings, as invited.Demonstrate and support professional commitment to Division, School, and College mission and values.Maintain a supportive attitude toward work, students, colleagues, and administration.Demonstrate depth of understanding in business statistics.Support College policies.Other job related duties as required.Minimum Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in management from an accredited college or university, OR2. Master’s degree in closely related field, AND3. Verification of completion of degree requirements by time of employment with official transcripts, AND4. Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative methods in business statistics and/or business calculus.Preferred Qualifications

Three (3) years non-teaching full-time (or full-time equivalent) work experience using business statistics, business calculus or skills.College level teaching or corporate training experience.Knowledge and experience in technology-enhanced instruction.Technologically literate and innovative.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, culture, ethnic background, and abilities, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.SLCC Highlights
