We are seeking an early career Environmental Health and Safety Scientist for our Hunt Valley, MD office.What you will do:The early career Environmental Health and Safety Scientist will be responsible for assisting in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) projects.Specific responsibilities include:Perform regulatory compliance analysis.Conduct environmental health and safety audits and assessments.Engage in technical research tasks for multimedia compliance projects.Develop occupational health and safety policy.Prepare environmental, health, and safety compliance management documents.Perform field studies and data gathering activities.Support asbestos and other Occupational/Industrial Hygiene (IH) surveys.What you will need:Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational or public health, industrial hygiene, biochemistry, or related discipline.0-3 years of experience with occupational health, industrial hygiene, health and safety, and environmental compliance.Basic knowledge of federal and state environmental health and safety regulatory programs and statutes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable with field data, reporting, and plan preparation.Strong desire to grow in the occupational health, industrial hygiene, and health and safety field.What We Offer:401k with Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Low deductible health coverage for you and your family through Medical, Dental and Vision plansGenerous paid-time-off policyProfessional DevelopmentHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee wellness programEA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC
