We are currently seeking a
Human Factors Scientist
for our
Human Factors
Practice in Bellevue, WA. In this role you will work as part of a team to address human factors, safety management, risk communication, and risk perception issues in various contexts, focusing on analyzing accidents and managing safety risk.You will be responsible for:
Managing a range of consulting activities that involve human factors issues.Developing client contacts.Working on multi-disciplinary projects and conducting a variety of analyses.Providing case management, information processing, and other project support.Conducting research to obtain and review technical data, scientific literature, regulations, and standards.Assisting with the design and evaluation of safety management practices and safety information.You will have the following skills and qualifications:
Ph.D. in Human Factors, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms.Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Assertive self-starter who is able to accurately and flexibly work under deadlines.Mathematical aptitude.Desire to expand present knowledge, especially as related to various industries and applied contexts.Ability to use basic scientific research to understand and solve applied problems.Applicants are encouraged to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae) with publications.Life @ Exponent
