The Assistant Professor of Veterinary Medicine will assist with teaching in CVM undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.Required Qualifications:DVM or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:5 years clinical experienceAdvanced training in veterinary medicinePhysical Demands:Job Duties:Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in supporting and promoting success in the CVM.Contribute to the overall success of the academic team and the university as a whole.Collaborate and foster working relationships with peers, other colleges on campus, and external partners and stakeholders to attain the college's and university's goals and objectives.Maintain intellectual integrity and strive for academic excellence in teaching.Carry out lecture, seminar, small group discussion, and/or clinical assignments and responsibilities effectively.Prepare examination questions, lecture objectives, course objectives, and other metrics related to curricular requirements.Meet classes according to the published schedule.Commit to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity.Promote by precept and example a general atmosphere within the CVM of respect for knowledge, thought, and inquiry.Involvement in graduate training/research programs of the College.Provide service by attending scheduled faculty meetings and by serving on appointed and/or elected committees as required.Provide instructional support for the assigned course.Perform other duties as assigned.Posting Number:
