For more information, visit www.wakemed.org.EOEPosition Information:The CapRAC Training & Exercise Specialist works collaboratively with regional facilities and agencies to develop coordinate implement and deliver disaster-related training programs and exercises. The Specialist works with other CapRAC staff to determine what types of training are needed to meet gaps identified through exercise and improvement plans. Additionally the Specialist supports the CapRAC State Medical Assistance Team (SMAT) and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) deploying on missions as assigned.Experience Requirements:5 Years Disaster Preparedness and Response And Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning Required - And 8 Years Disaster Preparedness and Response And Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning PreferredEducation Required:Bachelor's Degree Related Field Required - Or Associate's Degree Healthcare Or Emergency Management Or Related Field With Preferred Experience RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements:Registered Nurse Required - Or Emergency Medical Technician - Basic or Higher Required - And Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program PreferredHours of Work:variesWeekend Requirements:As NeededCall Requirements:as needed
