www.oaktreecapital.com .ResponsibilitiesBased in downtown Los Angeles, the Administrative Assistant will be part of the Real Estate team, and will provide administrative support to the Portfolio Manager.Responsibilities include:Maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings, road shows, conference calls and events, including catering preparations;Scheduling travel arrangements (domestic and international) and managing expense reports;Coordinating the execution and notarizing of legal documents to help facilitate closings;Reviewing, tracking and maintaining documents; following-up to obtain information as necessary;Printing and distributing monthly and quarterly reports;Maintaining the filing system (both physical and electronic);Answering, screening and managing incoming phone calls, faxes and mail;Ability, discretion and willingness to help manage range of personal business affairs and extensive charitable involvements;Performing other administrative duties as needed.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant supporting multiple executives within a professional services firm;Strong writing and editing skills;Outstanding follow-up and organizational skills with a strong attention-to-detail;Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self initiating other value-added tasks;Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;Plus if have notary, otherwise would be required to obtain upon joining (at Oaktree’s expense).Personal AttributesExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative;Hard-working with strong dedication to the position and company;Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.EducationBachelor’s degree is preferred.Base Salary Range$60,000 - $100,000In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a
