We are seeking an
Associate Scientist, Sample Prep
to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at

If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.As a Scientist, Sample Prep, you will be responsible for sample preparation duties, including troubleshooting routine experiments, preparing solutions and reagents, and driving process improvements. You will also play a key role in training junior level staff.What You’ll be Doing:Executing techniques to ensure biological sample is prepared for subsequent analysis.Offering subject matter expertise to assist in the technical transfer of methods.Performing and documenting hands-on training for junior lab staff in areas of proven competency.Identifying and documenting potential performance errors or otherwise unusual results and escalating to senior lab personnel.Assisting in process improvements to increase data quality, lower costs, or reduce turnaround times.Documenting all project work according to Q2 Solutions and regulatory processes and procedures.Leading a laboratory or cross-functional project and assisting with the implementation of changes.Working with automated instrumentation and performing routine data analysis, as required.What We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s Degree or other equivalent combination of education and experience.1 year of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.Proficiency with pipetting techniques.Applicable certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for this role:Sound knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in the job area.Working knowledge of any applicable regulatory standards within the area of responsibility, such as Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Strong technical knowledge of complex testing procedures and science supporting analysis.Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.What We Offer You:
