Full-Time, 40 hours/weekJob Description:Seeking a highly motivated Scientist IV to contribute to the development of a new Functional Genomics and Sequencing Laboratory (FGSL). The scientist will collaborate with Therapeutic Area teams and Computational Biology to advance the research portfolio. Key responsibilities include implementing experimental designs, conducting functional genomics assays (CRISPR screening, RNA-seq, single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, etc.), providing technical guidance, and managing external CRO collaborations. The candidate will also maintain lab equipment, assist with budget preparation, and ensure data integrity.Responsibilities:Design and perform various functional genomics assays (CRISPR, RNA-seq, CITE-seq, etc.).Provide technical support to research scientists on FGSL technologies and troubleshoot issues.Monitor assay performance and manage external CRO projects.Maintain detailed lab records and collaborate on equipment operation.Assist with budget and resource management.Define QC measures and stay updated on emerging scientific methods.Communicate results effectively, write protocols, and automate data reporting.Requirements:Ph.D. or Master’s in molecular/cell biology or related field with 6+ years of experience.Experience with CRISPR, NGS, single-cell technologies, and cell culture.Automation and software programming experience is a plus.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
