Tuesday, September 17, 2024Location: National Capital Area CommandPosition Type: Seasonal Full-Time/HourlyPay Range: $17.50- $18.00/hourAbout this opportunity:Drives a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers and Red Kettle equipment to bell ringing locations.Key responsibilities:Provides transportation for bell ringers to kettle sites and the Corps.Picks-up Angel Tree donations from various sites for transport to warehouse.Picks-up and delivers miscellaneous items as needed.What we are looking for in you:High School Diploma or G.E.D.ANDTwo years’ experience operating an automotive vehicle.ORAny equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Valid Driver’s License and must meet TSA MVR Requirements.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to drive a vehicle in heavy traffic and extended trips.
