Responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate courses in resort and lodging management; hospitality, conventions, & meeting management; special event planning; festival & event management, leadership & diverse groups; professionalism & customer experiences; experiential marketing; financing recreation, parks & tourism, and introduction to the experience industry.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree required in Recreation, Parks, Leisure Studies or related field.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSM.S. in Recreation, Parks, Tourism or related field preferred. Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred:hospitality management; event planning; convention management; experiential marketing; recreation leadership; risk & facility management; grants and resources development; environmental education; finance.Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.HOW TO APPLYAttach cover letter, resume, diversity statement, statement of teaching philosophy, and unofficial copy of transcripts showing highest degree.
