Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team and contribute to our ENV department. This internship presents an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and make meaningful contributions to our organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of environmental reports, assessments, and documentationConduct field sampling and data collection for environmental studies on upcoming South Florida schools water projectAnalyze environmental data and prepare findings for reviewSupport the development and implementation of environmental management plansParticipate in site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulationsAssist with the preparation of permit applications and regulatory submissionsCollaborate with team members on sustainability and environmental impact projectsResearch and stay current with environmental regulations and best practicesPrepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholdersPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:

Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification)Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldAbility to read & write, including interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers/clientsComputer skills sufficient to operate a laptop, including sending and receiving emails, and the ability to learn Field Data Collection (FDC)/Inspector Gadget to input data and prepare reportsMathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsReasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram formPreferred Qualifications:
