The Animal Sciences Department within the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at Cal Poly is seeking applications for a pool of part-time lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2024-2025 academic year. Responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate Animal Science courses in animal production and management, and discipline support courses such as nutrition, reproduction, physiology, behavior, embryology, etc.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSA Bachelor of Science with considerable experience in animal science or related discipline is required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSA Masters in Animal Science or related discipline is preferred.SPECIAL CONDITIONSFollowing a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
