Our team is passionate about improving workforce outcomes to expand economic opportunity. The person in this position may have a particular focus area within the program area but will support work across the WPA. Use your experience, knowledge, and education to help us deliver on our mission: to contribute to a better, more equitable world.Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations. The responsibilities for the position include:Conduct literature reviews to support projects and proposalsAssist staff in the review, identification and development of scholarly information describing research findingsParticipate in the collection, analysis, and review of research and evaluation dataDevelop spreadsheets and databases to support project activitiesAnalyze quantitative and qualitative research data and contribute to the reporting and interpretation of findingsConduct analysis of workforce or human service agencies' client-centered services, such as by applying principles of behavioral economics, human centered design, or user-centered research to understand how to improve program deliveryQualifications
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:Bachelor's degree completed in a social science related field such as economics, psychology, sociology, statistics, computer science, public policy, public health or othersProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite or the equivalent (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software)Knowledge of data collection and analysis methodologies and techniques, such as survey design, analysis of program administrative data, and conduct of structured interviews, observations, and focus groupsExperience with or inclination to learn and use statistical software programs such as R, SPSS, or Stata to analyze dataSkills:Demonstrated excellent organization and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writingEffective communicationComfortable working independently and as a reliable member of a teamComfortable working in a virtual/dispersed work environmentDisclosures:Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
