As-Built Drafter Technician , you will be responsible for preparing and managing as-built plans, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring accurate documentation of site conditions. This role involves working closely with the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) staff to support the ongoing development and maintenance of architectural and engineering documents.Duties and Responsibilities:Interact extensively with VAPAHCS staff to assess progress and prioritize tasks and updates.Prepare and manage existing inventory of VAPAHCS as-built plans, central models, and digital files for all buildings in Revit, AutoCAD, and PDF formats.Coordinate with VA CFM Resident Engineers (RE) and VAPAHCS Project Managers (PM) to ensure as-built documents are properly saved, archived, and accessible.Site verify as-built drawings.Develop and manage the AutoCAD & Revit file system, maintaining a systematic filing system for as-built drawings.Coordinate with vLogic with redline markups to update AE plans to reflect current built conditions.Coordinate with vLogic on missing as-built documents.Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and CAD/BIM file management for commercial, industrial, healthcare, or campus projects.Ability to perform drafting skills in Revit, as evidenced by competency in various domains outlined by Autodesk certification programs.Ability to perform drafting skills in AutoCAD, as evidenced by competency in various domains outlined by Autodesk certification programs.Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Ability to obtain and assemble data to complete as-built documents and conduct site verifications.Excellent communication skills for technical discussions, report preparation, and project record maintenance.Experience in organizing and managing as-built files in Revit, AutoCAD, and PDF formats.CAD and Revit work samples required for review.Must lawfully reside in the United States and be eligible for employment.Why Planate?Planate Management Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
