The role of the Safety Technician is to actively promote an injury-free culture and work with all levels to continuously improve the safety performance of the division. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensuring compliance with OSHA and WISHA/DOSH regulationsAssisting departments in safety initiativesLeading or assisting with internal process auditsDeveloping/improving training materialsLeading training sessionsAssisting in safety teamsAuditing contractors and assisting with outside auditsPay grades 20-23 ($81,994 - 94,910/yr) in addition to an average ROA bonus of 15%, along with an average 15% profit sharing.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:

4-year degree or equivalent experience2 years of proven safety-related experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with safety management systems and/or OSHA VPPPreferred Qualifications:
