This position will support clinical and didactic teaching in the DVM program, fellow training and mentorship in surgical oncology, graduate student/resident training, and research in the areas of veterinary and translational oncology.Conditions of Employment: Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)Required Job Qualifications

Assistant Professor – Tenure trackDVM or equivalent veterinary professional degreeDiplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or equivalentACVS Founding Fellow or Fellow in Surgical Oncology or completion of a fellowship training program in surgical oncology preferred, though consideration extended to candidates having surgical oncology experience and or interest in completing surgical oncology fellowship training during employment.Associate Professor – Tenure trackDVM or equivalent veterinary professional degreeDiplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or equivalentACVS Founding Fellow or Fellow in Surgical Oncology or completion of a fellowship training program in surgical oncology preferred, though consideration extended to candidates having surgical oncology experience and or interest in completing surgical oncology fellowship training during employment.Evidence of maintaining an independent or collaborative research program.5 years of experience at the Assistant Professor rank or equivalentFull Professor – Tenure trackDVM or equivalent veterinary professional degreeDiplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or equivalentACVS Founding Fellow or Fellow in Surgical Oncology or completion of a fellowship training program in surgical oncology5 years of experience at the Associate Professor rank or equivalentEvidence of maintaining an independent and collaborative research programPreferred Job Qualifications

Experience in instruction of DVM studentsExperience with mentorship of clinical fellows and other specialists in trainingEvidence of dedication to the advancement of the field of surgical oncologyAt Assistant and Associate Professor rank, fellowship training in surgical oncology is preferred. For candidates without this training, training will be provided with an expectation that the candidate will become an ACVS Fellow in Surgical OncologyMS or PhD and/or evidence of success in developing and or maintaining an independent research programApplication Instructions
