Directs the daily work activities of assigned personnel within the Food and Beverage facilityEnsures sufficient staffing of all Food and Beverage areasEstablishes policies and procedures for Food and Beverage team members, to include safety and personal hygieneEnsures that team members have all required certification validatedPerform routine inspection of all Food and Beverage areas and equipmentServes as a dynamic and energetic leader, while fostering teamwork, team member morale, motivation and open communicationActs as a role model and coach while developing team members using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectationsEnsures that team members clearly understand and are held accountable for their performance expectationsProvides appropriate recognition and rewards to individuals and groups when consistent superior performance is attainedEnsures venue products and Food and Beverage experience surprises and delights the guestsVisible in all areas engaged with guests and team members, ensuring all guests expectations have been metManage team members performance according to spotlight behaviorsAbility to conduct a fun informative huddle sessionSolicits and responds to guest feedback by direct interactionSupervises all front line Food & Beverage team members, which includes maintaining proper employee relations, recognition, evaluating performance and administering disciplinePortrays ability to maintain an exciting and fun environmentResponsible for maintaining all employee recordsAdheres to all Internal Controls, policies & proceduresResponsible for appropriate/accurate inventories of suppliesEnsures compliance with all regulatory, internal controls, policies and proceduresCommunicates and cooperates with the Food & Beverage production management teamAll other job duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Must be 21 years of ageMust have excellent leadership and customer service/communication skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills requiredMust have professional experience, be able to lead people and be a team playerWork requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, and holidaysWork requires knowledge of computer programs - Microsoft SuiteMust be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.Respond to visual and aural cues.Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises, and bright lights.Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCollege degree in culinary arts, hospitality, or hotel management preferredPrevious supervisory experience in high volume restaurant industry preferredMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in food and beverage requiredRequired Certification/License:Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission licenseQualifications
