Stipend, part-time position, fall and spring seasonsJob Summary and Duties:Sacred Heart Greenwich is looking for a Head Coach to lead our Rowing program at the Upper School level for the Fall and Spring Seasons. We are members of the New England Interscholastic Association (NEIRA).Duties include:Implement instruction and training programs to prepare student-athletes for competitionCollaborate with coaching staff to plan, organize and run daily practicesAttend all practices and competitions at the direction of the Director of AthleticsSupervise student-athletes during all team activitiesComply with Sacred Heart and sport-specific organization policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively with parents, students, and other stakeholdersAssist in maintaining equipment and advising Athletic Director on program needsDrive the shell trailer to and from competitionsTypical practice times are:4:00-6:00 pm, Monday- Friday; occasional weekends for races and morning training sessions.Travel with the team for practices and races is required.
