Job Description
Position DescriptionDr. Kate Alexander’s group at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to investigate the fundamentals of gene regulation as mediated by nuclear speckles, a prominent, yet enigmatic structure within the cell nucleus. Responsibilities include leading and managing research projects, supervising graduate and undergraduate students as needed, and writing scientific papers, reports, and grant proposals. Expertise relevant to the position includes molecular and cellular biology, cancer research, and bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing.
Position RequirementsEducation: PhD in molecular biology or related field.
