Role Overview:
As the Director of Community Youth and Family Development Services (CYFD), you will spearhead the implementation of a robust program plan encompassing community youth development, family enrichment, primary prevention, and more. Your strategic vision will aim to enhance youth empowerment, strengthen family bonds, and promote positive social roles across our communities.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute strategic objectives for the CYFD branch in alignment with the Board of Directors' goals.
Grant Management:
Participate in grant and proposal writing efforts to secure funding essential for program sustainability.
Team Supervision:
Lead and motivate branch personnel, ensuring alignment with YSS policies and fostering a culture of initiative and self-reliance.
Program Implementation:
Oversee the implementation of annual and grant-specific objectives, optimizing resources to achieve impactful outcomes.
Policy Development:
Establish standards, policies, and procedures that promote equity and support positive youth and family development.
Community Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Prevention Policy Board and community advisory committees, to drive community-wide initiatives.
Financial Oversight:
Manage branch expenditures within budgetary constraints, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Evaluation and Reporting:
Evaluate program outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability to stakeholders.

What you'll need:
A Master's degree with two years of experience is required. A Bachelor's degree with five years of experience will also be accepted.
Experience must include supervisory and management experience of at least three years, in addition, could include work as a teacher, counselor and/or employment specialist, or direct experience in youth development, substance abuse, youth service bureaus, and prevention-oriented projects involving youth; experience with youth who have emotional, behavioral, family, and social problems.
Experience in curriculum design; grant writing; strategic planning; evaluation design; and community education is preferred.
Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.
High-level strategic thinking and planning. Ability to envision and convey the organization's strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers, donors, and community.
