Its schools have received 96 U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Awards.Support the work of pastoral leaders at the parish level in their implementation and delivery of Pastoral Migratoria (PM) Chicago’s service, accompaniment and justice actions in local parish communities, responding to the needs of the immigrant community. Support PM’s infrastructure development and revitalization as a ministry in the local parish, fostering collaborative work among parishes in cluster(s).Primary Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide support to leaders of Pastoral Migratoria (PM) in their efforts to develop this ministry at the parish level in the Archdiocese of Chicago.• Support all activities to develop the infrastructure of the local cluster parishes.• Develop a calendar of upcoming PM activities for the local cluster(s) and vicariate.• In collaboration with diocesan and national staff, develop formation and civic trainings for new and experienced leaders.• Foster collaborative efforts among parishes in the area and vicariate.• Foster participation of parish leaders on archdiocesan initiatives such as the Equipo Timon Arquidiocesano, Foro Bimensual, Posada for IR, Lent Rosary for IR, National Migration Week, etc.• Support the collection of activity log and development of stories and testimonies of pastoral agents.• Develop ministry reports highlighting how leaders are responding to the needs of their communities with service, justice and accompaniment actions.• Maintain continuous communication with PM leaders and diocesan staff.• Support program evaluation efforts (e.g. development and collection of activity logs, stories, testimonies; development of ministry report).• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Experience

Required

Strong understanding and support for Catholic social teaching and the Church’s values and evangelization mission.Strong understanding of ministry, pastoral formation, and leadership development.Bilingual in Spanish and English.Strong planning, program and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and facilitate strong relationships with pastors, external partners and immigrants.Familiarity with social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and videoconferencing.Available to work evenings and weekends.Personal means of transportation.Preferred

Prior experience as a PM leader preferred.
