We offer an excellent benefits package including:A competitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePaid-time offTuition reimbursement401k Retirement PlanMilitary Reserve pay offsetPaid maternity leavePay Range: $36.00 - $60.00Position Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, and conducting inspections, evaluations, and inventory.Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.Programming and installation of head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.Leading the on-site software commissioning and testing.Leading inspections, evaluations, and inventory.Performing take-off project drawings.Creating, documenting, and tracking RFIs.Design assist and feedback.Documenting daily reports and project progress.Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management.Creating and managing project schedules.Integration of IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.Forecasting and managing project labor hours.Communicating effectively with supervisors and subordinates.Guiding and mentoring technicians.Basic Qualifications:Requires a valid driver's license.This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.Education:HS diploma or GED.Military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours) orGraduation from an accredited electronics technician program orGraduation from an electrical apprenticeship program orAn additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.Required Progressive Experience:10+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a plus.Desired / Advantageous Qualifications:Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.Software House CCURE, Verint, MDI, AMAG Symmetry, Bosch BVMS, Bosch IDS, Hirsch, Intercom Systems AIphone, FFT, Honeywell Video & Vindicator, and Proximex certifications and experience in installation of said systems.Lenel OnGuard Enterprise Security System certification (1000 and 2000).Abilities:Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.Can tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.Applies general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.Combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).Sees details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Listens to and understands information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
