Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

to lead our EHS Team and Security Program for POM Wonderful. The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for the management of safety training and programs within all facility departments, maintaining records of compliance, facilitating accident and incident reporting, and providing a consistent presence in all areas of the facility to monitor and encourage safe work practices and security procedures.This role will be required onsite 5 days a week based out of our POM Wonderful headquarters in Del Rey, CA near Fresno.Job Description

Plans and implements safety & environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)Develop a team of safety coordinators, providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities to build knowledge, skills, and abilitiesAdvises leadership team on EHS compliance concerns and preventative actionsImplements trainings for employees pertaining to work site safety practicesTracks training program and ensures compliancePerforms safety surveys and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where necessaryManages emergency response incidents, conducts post-accident investigation, and supports implementation of corrective actionsDevelops, evaluates, and upgrades EHS programsMaintain environmental reports including Storm water permits, SPCC, CALARP, RMP, etc.Conducts various audits and corrective action follow-upPlans and conducts safety meetings and certificationsMaintains a presence and provides safety observation on the floor and is available to answer employee questions and seek employee input related to environmental health & safetyQualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or universityMinimum of 3-5 years experience in environmental, health & safety management or related field with at least 1 year of supervisory experienceExperience in OSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory requirements preferredAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsCapable to perform PDCA problem solving and execute implementation plansStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of industry best practicesProficient in MS Office and EnablonMust have acceptable current driver's licenseRequires the ability to meet physical demands of position such as walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, bending, squatting, and crawling in tight spaces to access work sites safelyPay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 and may include a discretionary bonus.
