Environmental Health and Safety / Quality CoordinatorClassification:

Plant ManagerSummary of EHS Coordinator RolePartner with Facility Management to focus on EHS improvement and to address employee needs and concerns. Safety contact person for hourly employees and temporary associates.Essential Functions and Responsibilities - EHSPartner with Leadership Team for continuous improvement in the Pregis World Class 7 Elements of Safety Program.Facilitate Safety Mentorship process for new employees.Facilitate weekly/monthly toolbox talks with employees and Leadership.Meet with Safety Teams Bi-Weekly to ensure meetings are being held, charters are being completed and documentation is uploaded into SharePoint.Schedule, conduct and track monthly JJ Keller safety training.Schedule and assign monthly EASE auditing to site personnel appropriately.Maintain safety communication wall and electronic information stations throughout the facility.Maintain and update JSAs on SharePoint as required.Maintain appropriate inventory levels for all safety supplies.Maintain and record OSHA log and upload RCAs into SharePoint.Complete daily safety walks to observe employees’ work, check fire escapes, sprinkler clearance, etc.Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Summary of Quality Coordinator RoleOversee all activities related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance. The Quality Coordinator will execute key projects related to process improvement based on data collected from Quality Control and feedback from Customer Service Team. They work with both Operations and Logistics/Warehouse to identify and correct process failures and will provide support in project management, change management, SOP documentation and management.Essential Functions and Responsibilities – QualityPartner with Leadership Team for continuous quality improvement in the Production and Logistics/Warehouse.Verify all complaint investigations, root cause analysis, troubleshooting and data collection are being completed and uploaded to SharePoint.Ensure Customer Complaints (CCIs) are analyzed monthly to determine trends for recurrences.Competency

Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. Compensation also includes a competitive benefits package and may also include bonuses, and other on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is estimated to be $24.00-$26.00 per hour.Diversity and Inclusion
