https://www.corteva.comJob Description:Corteva Agriscience is seeking a talented and enthusiastic electrophysiologist to join the Crop Protection Discovery & Development Mode of Action & Resistance Center of Expertise, based at our Indianapolis research and development facility. The successful candidate will use their expertise in electrophysiology and insect toxicology to identify and characterize the target sites of novel chemistries. The successful candidate must also be able to work in a team environment, network across scientific disciplines, and be capable of clearly communicating to a broad range of audiences both internally and externally.Requirements:Ph.D. in Electrophysiology, Insect Toxicology, Insect Physiology, Entomology or related fieldExpertise in patch-clamp techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong track record of presentations and publications in related fieldsAbility to work independently and drive projects to completionStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to successfully partner with team members from a variety of backgroundsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in understanding and elucidating mode-of-actionTraining in neuronal receptor characterizationWorking knowledge of chemistry
