Conducts a requisite number of classes; teaches assigned subjectsProvides guidance and supervision to studentsCreates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, learning, and researchPreparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subjectsParticipates in departmental meetings and holds scheduled office hoursMaintains equipment in the laboratory, makes arrangements for laboratory practical sessions, and provides materials to studentsProvides academic support to other faculty membersServes on departmental and University committees, as assignedQualifications
Doctor of Philosophy in Education or related fieldFive (5) years’ teaching experience at the college or university levelPostdoctoral experience, with strong evidence of excellence in research and teaching desired.Licensing and Certifications
Teacher's License Preferred.Physical Requirements
