This position offers an opportunity to engage preschool-aged children in immersive Spanish language experiences. Candidates who are enthusiastic about promoting language development and scientific inquiry in young children are encouraged to apply.You will alsoPlan, supervise and implement Spanish curriculumCollaborate with other faculty and staff membersCommunicate daily with parents or guardiansParticipate in professional development opportunitiesWhat We Are Looking ForEducational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelor’s degree in child developmentPatience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Must be fluent in both Spanish and English languagePrior teaching experience with young students is preferredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In general, this position requires an individual to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language.
