Requirements:Bachelor’s degree preferredWorked as a Metrologist for 4+ yearsMust be able to troubleshoot GC and HPLC instrumentation, perform repairs, execute calibration and preventive maintenanceExperience in a cGMP and Pharmaceutical environment preferredExcellent reading, writing, math, and verbal skillsProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAPAble to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit, and other safety equipment as neededAdvanced use of tools and equipmentResponsibilities:Abide by all GMP, FDA, and DEA regulatory standardsSchedule the laboratory equipment calibration and Preventive MaintenancePerform equipment calibration and Preventive Maintenance as requiredPrepare qualification documents (protocols, reports, USR, etc.) for new equipment to be installed and qualifiedRevise and issue SOPs for laboratory instruments/equipmentEnsure all equipment is calibrated by their respective due datesEnsure that all documentation is completed in a GMP compliant manner and adheres to company policies and proceduresIssue and prepare deviation reports related to laboratory instruments/equipmentIssue change controls related to laboratory equipmentPerform daily/weekly checks of the laboratory chart recorders, balances, etc.The above list of duties is not all inclusive and other tasks may be required.
