Area Superintendent.
Can you picture yourself here?You’d be responsible for:Coaching, evaluating and training staff and field workers in the performance of landscape construction servicesInspecting all field work; analyzing and resolving problemsManaging labor force to ensure labor budgets are on trackMaintaining accurate daily and weekly Foremen and Superintendent activity logs; updating production tracking reports and generating other related reports as neededResponsible for dispatch of labor and equipment to job sitesManaging equipment utilization on projects, equipment storage and maintenanceEnsuring that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, within budget and on scheduleMeeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of external and internal customers – working with staff to ensure sameWorking collaboratively with others; fostering a positive “people oriented” environmentEvaluating employee safety data and promoting safe work practices or conditions; ensuring employees attend weekly safety meetingsDemonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting Company cultureYou might be a good fit if you have:Minimum of 10 years’ experience with landscape, concrete, irrigation and construction production techniquesMinimum of 5 years managing and leading construction production teams on a General Contractor levelAnd while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferredExpert knowledge of construction tools, machinery and equipmentStrong work ethicEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentHere’s what to know about working here:Here at BrightView, we’re as passionate about caring for our clients as we are about caring for each other.
